Stroke – If you're overworking yourself... you might be at risk right now

Are you working so hard you barely have time to rest? The dedication of the modern working generation is exactly what makes stroke one of the leading causes of death — and not just in old age! It’s time to start caring about your health, because with this condition… even a moment's delay can mean brain damage or permanent disability.

There are 2 main types of stroke:

  1. Ischemic Stroke (Blocked or Narrowed Blood Vessels):
The most common type, caused by hardened or narrowed arteries, or by a blood clot blocking a major brain artery.

  2. Hemorrhagic Stroke (Bleeding in the Brain):
Caused by weakened or burst blood vessels, sometimes from an aneurysm, leading to bleeding in the brain — which can cause death rapidly.

Even working-age people are at risk of stroke!
When we think of stroke, we often think of the elderly. But did you know that the modern working-age population is also at risk? Stress, lack of sleep, no exercise, alcohol consumption, and smoking can all lead to high blood pressure, heart disease, and diabetes — major risk factors for stroke.

Warning signs you shouldn’t ignore – it might be a stroke!
Headaches might seem normal for working people, but if the pain is sudden, intense, and unlike any before — especially when paired with symptoms like arm or leg weakness, slurred speech, drooping eyelids, blurred or double vision — you should see a doctor immediately. Without treatment, the condition can progress to unconsciousness and even death very quickly!

Take care of your health before stroke takes over your life.
Although stroke is a leading cause of death, it can be prevented — with healthy habits! Eat well, exercise regularly, get enough sleep, avoid alcohol and smoking, and manage stress levels.

If you’re unsure whether your headaches are serious, it’s a good idea to get an MRI screening to check your brain’s health. Every minute counts… don’t sacrifice your well-being for work and forget to take care of yourself!
