Cervical Cancer

 

Each year, women have died of cervical cancer by 55%, mostly are found in an age of 35-60. In this article you will find an information about causes of this disease, symptoms and risk factors. The beginning of cervical cancer.

Cervical cancer is caused by HPV or human papilloma virus. There are more than 200 type of this virus, which they are classified by having a high or low risk of the disease. However, the HPV is infected by touching.

  • Behavior can cause the disease

  • Having many partners in bed. People who sleep with many people in bed have more risk than those who have a single partner twice. But if in a case with more than 6 partners, the risk is three times higher than other people in general.
  • Sleeping with a high risk partner, such as when a partner has a history of HPV infection or having many partners in bed.
  • Having a history of sexual transmitted diseases such as Chlamydia trachomatis, Genital Herpes.
  • Having a previous history of cancer or endometriosis. At the vagina or at an external reproductive organs
  • Having a weak immune system.
  • Having first child at an age of less than 20 years or having multiple children.
  • Long contraceptives taking. According to some studies found that the risk factors for cervical cancer are increased with a duration of contraceptives usage.
  • Smoking

Observation 

In an early stages of cervical cancer, symptoms are rarely notice.  But one way to help is checking the risk of cervical cancer every year. Because if something goes wrong. You will be able to save your own life in time. However, in some cases, patients may have vaginal bleeding, leucorrhea, bleeding after intercourse.  Including abdominal pain, back pain, thighs pain, bloody urination, breathing obstruction and asthenia.

Treatment

To diagnose cervical cancer a physician will analyze from a result of pathology in cervical tissue, such as a cervical Biopsy. Or colposcopy then remove c the cervix. After finding out having the cervical cancer. For treatment, it is divided into 4 stages according to a phase of the disease. Including a size and distribution. The first stage may be treated by procedure. Or providing a hysterectomy together with pelvic lymph nodes centesis. But if a stage is in danger may need to be provided by injection together with chemotherapy etc.
